I lied. No more Australia shots until I go buy a new camera cable - which could be never... or at least until my next dive trip. The XD card has won.

I discovered that USB Olympus proprietary snobbery with my underwater (30') Stylus 770 SW several years ago on a trip to Playa del Carmen. The XD card wasn't too much of a hassle (the extra money was - couldn't use my SD cards), yet the idea of having their own kind of USB cable is why they are not on the top of the camera food chain.
