Rutgers got the best of us in the NIT game, but . . . *sigh* maybe next year, boys.

In an attempt to get the best shots, I went to the Kodak Theatre the day before, the day of and the day after the Academy Awards, but never got as close as I wanted. Unfortunately, my Penn State media credential didn't cut it at the Oscars and even if it had, I think security would have been a little suspicious when I ran up to hug one of the giant statues.
I'd like to thank Grauman's Chinese Theatre for providing the perfect hard lighting for this shot. I was walking around photographing the prints, like any good tourist would, when my dad's shadow stepped into the frame. Being that it was Bogie's square, I thought the silhouette shot paid rightful respect to the biggest star of film noir. Besides, my dad loves Bogart so it was a nice shot for him too.
