Now for a smidge of backtracking. When I was packing up my apartment at the end of November, I got one single text message from friend and colleague, Mike Savas. That text message read:

"Dec 8 13 15. Stones. Need you."

 Didn't matter what the gig was, didn't matter what the pay was. It was Savas and it was the Stones.
